Dear Parishioners of St. Robert’s and the Community of El Campo, 

We celebrated 95 years as a Parish this year at our Annual St. Robert’s Festival. We held our Festival at the El Campo Civic Center for the first time and on behalf of Fr. Philip, Fr. Augustine, our Deacons, and staff of St. Robert’s to say “Thank you” is not nearly enough to express our gratitude. The outpouring of support from everyone last Sunday at our annual festival was overwhelming.

To all those who helped make the Gorditas, worked at the ticket booths, helped with all the games, food booths, and selling drinks, we say a BIG THANK YOU. We also want to thank everyone who helped make the Live Auction a great success. To the entire crew who assisted with BBQing the Brisket/sausage meal, cooking, and serving, we are very grateful. A special thanks goes to the festival committee and especially the Chairpersons for their dedication and leadership. Also, to the Finance Committee, who kept an account of all income for the entire day, we are appreciative of your time and talents. Our Plant Walk and Cake Walk could not be successful without those who donated plants and cakes for each event. For all your efforts we are very pleased. To our youth and Confirmation Students, your example of service is noticed and recognized.

The King and Queen raffle contest had an old/new twist to it. We brought back the King and Queen dance and added a meal and other events. To all those who helped at this event your hard work and success is very much appreciated. We would like to also express our heartfelt thankfulness to our community of El Campo. Many businesses supported our festival in various ways. Our local and family-owned businesses are always generous when donating to the auction and this year was no different.

Finally, we at St. Robert’s would like to extend our gratitude to the many, many families who came out last Sunday, and spent their hard-earned money, bought tickets, and supported St. Robert’s Church. The Live Auction could not have been as great a success without all the donors and bidders. Your support throughout the entire day was awe-inspiring. We pray for each one of you, that God may bless you abundantly with His love and grace.
