  Members of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul (or "Vincentians" ) are men and women who strive to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service to individuals in need. We are young and old. Our members come in every shade of skin color. Some of us are wealthy, some are financially poor, but all of us are blessed with an awareness that our blessings (time, talent or treasure) are to be shared with our brothers and sisters in need. We know that we are not alone. We are part of an international society of friends united by a spirit of poverty, humility, and sharing, which is nourished by prayer and reflection, mutually supportive gatherings, and adherence to a basic Rule.

  We received in income: $3,211.00.
  
  May & June 2023 Black Bag was $2,754.00.
  Secret Collection at our meetings was $127.00.
  Other donation was $330.00.
  
  We have spent 5,459.18.
  
  From the EFSP grant we paid
  Utilities - $579.68 serving 5 families
  Rent: $1,692.00 serving 6 families
  
  From the Black Bag and other donations funds:
  Assisted 8 families with a food for $936.84
  Assisted 1 families with a rent for $85.00
  Assisted 1 family with medicine for $38.84
  Assisted 2 families with gasoline for $94.00
  Assisted 1 family with hotel stay for $135.00
  Assisted 2 families with light bill for $246.74
  Assisted 2 families with water bill for $267.80
  Paid our cell phone in the amount of $82.68
  Paid our Liability Insurance was $275.00
  Paid our Council Solidarity for $1,023.60
  Paid $2.00 in service fee to pay utilities bill at HEB.
  
  A person donated in June toiletries, this served 7 families for a value of $200.00
